ArcaMea is developed by Homer Tijerina. We designed the app to store your important details in an encrypted vault on your device or in your own iCloud storage. We do not operate a service that receives or stores the contents of your vault.
Information you put in the app
You choose what to store: for example, card details, IDs, account information, passwords, notes, and PDF or image attachments. Your items, category templates, attachments, and previous item versions are stored inside the encrypted vault. The app processes this information on your device to provide its features, including search, formatting, and viewing attachments.
Local storage and iCloud
If you choose a local vault, the vault and its local encryption key are stored on that device using app storage and Apple Keychain. If you choose iCloud, the encrypted vault file is stored in your app’s iCloud Drive container and synchronized through your Apple Account. Keychain may also synchronize key material for the iCloud vault, subject to Apple’s services and your settings.
Apple processes iCloud data and service metadata under its own terms and privacy policy. You control iCloud access in your device’s Apple Account settings. ArcaMea does not receive your Apple Account password.
Passwords and biometric authentication
Your master password is used on your device to protect access to your vault’s encryption key. Optional biometric authentication uses Apple’s authentication services. ArcaMea does not receive or store your fingerprint or facial biometric data. Optional PIN and device unlock settings are managed on the device.
Website icons
When an item has a website address, the app may request that website’s favicon to display an icon for the item. This connects to the website’s server, which can receive your IP address and normal web request metadata. Vault field values are not sent as part of the icon request. ArcaMea does not use a third-party favicon lookup service.
Backups, clipboard, and exports
Backups are encrypted files saved to a location you choose. Files saved to cloud or third-party storage are also subject to that provider’s policies. Restoring a backup requires the password associated with it.
Copy buttons put the selected value on the device clipboard. Exporting an attachment produces a separate, unencrypted file outside the vault. You control where you paste, save, or share that information. Clipboard clearing and automatic locking options are available in Security settings.
Analytics and advertising
ArcaMea does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. We do not sell vault contents or use them for advertising. Apple may provide app distribution, crash, or usage reports according to your device settings and Apple’s policies.
This website
The website provides product information, help, and policy pages. It does not ask you to create an account or upload vault contents. We do not add advertising trackers or third-party analytics to the website.
Hosting and network providers, including Sites and Cloudflare, process normal connection information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and timestamps to deliver and protect the site. Their service logs and any operational cookies are governed by their own policies, including Cloudflare’s privacy policy and OpenAI’s privacy policy.
Contacting support
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to respond, investigate the issue, and maintain support records as needed. Email is handled through Cloudflare Email Routing and Outlook. Do not send passwords, encryption keys, full card numbers, Social Security numbers, or unencrypted vault contents.
Retention and deletion
Vault information remains in the storage you choose until you delete it. Deleting an iCloud vault also removes it from devices when they synchronize. Separately saved backups and exported files must be deleted separately. Cloud providers may retain recoverable or backup copies according to their own policies.
Support communications are kept as needed to respond to requests, maintain relevant records, and meet legal obligations. To ask about or request deletion of information you shared directly with support, contact us below. We cannot access or delete the contents of your device or personal iCloud vault on your behalf.
Your choices
You can choose local or iCloud storage, manage iCloud access in device settings, edit or delete vault information, and control optional authentication and privacy settings. You may contact us about access, correction, or deletion of information you have provided directly, or other privacy rights that apply where you live.
Children
ArcaMea is not directed specifically to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through this website. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact us so we can address it.
Policy changes
We may update this policy when the app, website, or its practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
